About 9 km west of Avram Iancu on the hill top of Mount Gaina (1486m) , a Girls' Fair (Targul de Fete) is held every year on a Sunday around 20 Jully.
  
  
The "market" is the biggest event of the year for the surrounding villages whose people flock to the mountain top every year to sing , dance and light bonfires.
